7 years ago I was paired up with Christian as my trainer. I came in with back pain, low motivation and not much experience - kind of a last effort to feel better and see if I could find something that would work for me and “stick.” With Christian’s patience, modifications, and expertise I felt safe enough to follow his program and that I could be honest with feedback. It did not take long to see improvement in my physique, physical and mental health, and motivation. My back pain slowly improved and I learned proper techniques and form to keep myself safe and meet my needs. I felt like I was given a new chance at a healthy life - one without pain. I am now a consistent exerciser and even look forward to it - a complete change from where I started. My confidence has grown, I have a more positive outlook for my future, and I am proud of what I’ve accomplished. I give Christian so much credit and appreciation for his personalized guidance to help me get to where I am now.
I love that he is willing to adjust a workout and offer modifications wherever someone needs it. Everyone in the group is at different levels, skills, and abilities and it does not faze Christian or Andy - they make it work for you!

I started at LivingFit just over a year ago, no energy, overweight. I tried different programs and gyms. My doctor suggested I meet Christian and try his program, he explained it is for all levels of people so I took his advice. It was the best decision of my life!! The attention you get and the personal work out he provides is second to none. I call it semi personal training, small classes of people with special attention to insure your needs and goals are met. I have been going to Christian for almost three years. It’s been a great experience. I love that the training area is the perfect size and Christian personalizes or helps with modifications if you need it. Everyone at the gym works together and it is a supportive community. Highly recommend Living Fit! Christian is a knowledgeable and experienced personal trainer who knows my capabilities and when to push me. He plans small group trainings that are fresh and motivating— always hitting varied muscle groups for a total body workout. I have trained with this group for almost one year. The trainers are terrific and the people who train there are wonderful.
Christian tailors the work out for individual needs and is very cognizant of needs/deficits that are specific to those who train there.
My internist was amazed with my weight, blood pressure and pulse at my recent visit.

I am happy to share this hidden treasure located right here in New Albany Ohio! Christian Livingston III and his Living Fit program!
I have been on a fitness journey for the past 2.5 years. I have made so much progress but I outgrew my home gym and wasn’t comfortable joining a gym to lift heavier. I really didn’t have the confidence to muscle up to barbells and all the heavy equipment on my own. I considered buying equipment for home use but that wouldn’t solve the problem about using proper form and progression.
As luck would have it, I was introduced to Christian and tried a free week of his group fitness classes and was hooked immediately. I never thought I would enjoy a group fitness class and I never thought I could make a specific time to attend a class work with my crazy schedule. But…when I realized what an amazing program was being offered I found a way to commit to a time slot. He has many options. The classes are small enough to get one on one time when needed and honestly he doesn’t miss a thing even with a full class!😜
Christian meets you where you are in terms of fitness level or limitations. He designs monthly progressions for each week so you can track your progress. If you need modification for any reason, he can easily substitute a move. His skill level with work out design is top notch. I also am totally impressed that he begins each class with prehab which is so critical in avoiding injury. We foam roll, stretch and activate the muscles we are getting ready to work before each work out!
If that isn’t amazing enough, every four months he performs a test week where we test strength, mobility/ flexibility and endurance. This test week gets repeated four months later and you track your progress!
Honestly, when I started this journey my ‘why’ was admittedly to achieve an aesthetic goal, but I do have first hand experience with a family member who has had health challenges requiring all levels of care in the past years. And while we can only control what we can control, maintaining muscle and building muscle, even at this decade of life, becomes critical for longevity with quality of life ! The bonus is rocking the pair of jeans!😉.
The cost for this program is worth every penny. Oh and get this , he is offering an additional conditioning class on Saturday along with an isometric class if you want to really round out your routine! I will be spending a lot of time in the gym!
I’ve been with Christian since July 2024 and he has been by my side pushing me (in the best way) to really see how far I can go with this heavy lifting and fitness journey! It’s so much fun to lift heavy weights and crush the work outs each week! I will repeat a Dexa scan (which he can arrange) after a few more months to give more data about the muscles gainzzzz!!! 💪🏼
If you are considering strength training, I highly recommend this program and would love to see you in class crushing your goals!
